We’re the Bracknell practice for you if you want to be seen QUICKLY!
Telephone 01344 429485 for a thorough check on your gums/bone and teeth.
It is important for your dentist to get to know your gums/bone and teeth inside out so that your clinical needs can be established to be able to offer you the best possible treatment.
To achieve this, your dentist will conduct a comprehensive clinical examination. This involves your dentist:
• having a look in your mouth
• checking your soft tissues to scan for any problems
• carefully probing your teeth and gums
A thorough charting will then be made of your teeth, gums and existing fillings by the dental nurse. Any bone loss or decay you have will be noted. Then, if necessary, the dentist will organise a radiographic examination to check on the extent of your bone loss and to see what lies beneath your fillings and between your teeth.
Appropriate Xrays will be taken (chosen from the following) depending on your clinical needs
• the modern full head scanning Xray
• a small routine Xrays of your cheek teeth
• a full length Xray of individual teeth
All your Xrays will be developed on the premises by our dental nurses within minutes.
